Digital Marketing Specialist needed to tutor on remote/online course for nonprofit org

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Digital Marketing expert who can collaborate with our team to design and deliver an innovative online Digital Marketing course. We are signed up to the Fairwork Initiative, meaning that this role will emphasise flexible working and fair compensation, with rates starting from £198 daily.

You do not need formal teaching experience for this role, but some experience with tutoring or mentoring would be desirable.

What skills and experience do I need?



  • Share our vision to reach those with barriers to employment and equip them with the skills to succeed – experience within the third sector would be great!
  • Experience working in a strategic marketing role
  • Experience of working in remote teams
  • Enthusiasm about teaching/mentoring or tutoring
  • You will be organised, show a high level of initiative, independence and self-management
  • You will be confident in your ability to lead classes and/or workshops online
  • Demonstrable expertise in Digital Marketing or related subjects (e.g. Analytics, SEO, CRO)



  • You may have experience of industry and want to transfer that specialist knowledge to our learners
  • You may share our vision for modern and innovative teaching methods e.g. Agile education, flexible, work-based learning & portfolio assessment
  • Enjoy modern methods of working in remote teams and be familiar with the tools to do so e.g. Slack, Zoom, Trello etc
  • You may have a professional network in tech and/or the third sector
  • You may have experience working within an organisation that creates social impact


Working alongside the course leader, your duties will include:

  • Professional and organised supervision of own students
  • Preparing resources; videos, interactive materials
  • Designing creative and interactive workshops/lessons
  • Participating in course design meetings
  • Support, mentor and coach learners with compassion & empathy
  • Collaborate with a remote team to ensure learners are supported throughout their journey
